The approach and technology of searching files in the hard disk of a PC and searching files in an enterprise storage server is completely different in terms of performance.
As a result, Somansa developed the ‘Privacy Super Engine’, a search engine that improves the speed of pattern searches and minimizes the memory load during discovery.
“Somansa put a lot of effort into improving the speed of analyzing patterns of unique identification information such as social security numbers and driver’s license number,” said TW Kim, Director of Research and Development Research Center.
The Somansa ‘Super Discovery Engine’ will be applied first to the Somansa Server-i product which scans and locates sensitive data stored on servers and databases. The Super Discovery Engine will be applied to all Somansa products within this year.
